What is the GW Steps Challenge?

From Thursday, May 4, 2023 to Wednesday, May 31, 2023 faculty and staff can compete individually and in teams to achieve 200k steps (or more!). Virtual badges will mark your progress as you achieve intermediate step goals and step leaders will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.

You can register at any point during the challenge, but we recommend registering early so you can participate from the beginning. Questions can be directed to askhrmdatgwu [dot] edu (askhrmd[at]gwu[dot]edu).

Steps Challenge Kick-Off

How well do you know GW's campus? Test your knowledge about GW's history, trivia, traditions, and more! Current students will guide you through the hidden gems of campus in this interactive and unique tour of GW. This walking tour  will start at 12pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023 and last approximately 60 minutes. The tour will begin in the University Student Center 1st floor lobby. The first 100 to join the tour will receive GW swag.

How do I register?
