Benefits
Benefits are an important part of a university employee's overall compensation package. Since most benefit programs are provided on a tax-favored basis, they are an efficient way to increase total compensation and create value for the employee. The university offers eligible employees a comprehensive benefit package, information on which can be found on the Benefits webpage.
Regular full-time employees are eligible for a variety of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, retirement, tuition assistance, child and elder care resources, legal services, and commuter benefits. Regular part-time and temporary employees are eligible for some of these benefits. New employees learn about benefits offered during New Employee Orientation. For information about benefits eligibility and detailed plan information, please refer to the Benefits web page.
