Exit Surveys and Interviews
To prepare for your departure, some important information and a few helpful resources have been included below:
Medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage will terminate at midnight on the last day of the month you either end your employment or you lose eligibility. For information related to your benefits, visit the Leaving the University section of the Benefits Administration website. You may also contact the Benefits Administration department directly at 571-553-8382 or at [email protected]
Your final paycheck and any accrued, but unused, annual leave will typically become available to you within two weeks of your last day at GW. If you are currently enrolled in direct deposit, it will be direct deposited. If you are not currently enrolled in direct deposit, you may pick up your final check in the Faculty & Staff Service Center. GW-Issued Materials and Equipment
All keys, work equipment, library books, GW materials, and any other materials/equipment should be turned in to your manager, HR representative, or the appropriate department prior to or on your last day.
