GW Employee Assistance Program with Textcoach
The GW Employee Assistance Program (EAP), offers you resources to manage your daily life needs at no cost to you. The service provides around-the-clock, confidential counseling (up to assistance ranging from life event planning to personal counseling from highly trained master's- and doctoral-level clinicians. Simplify any situation by letting our work-life specialists do the research and map solutions for you.
Headspace
Headspace, the mindfulness app, is available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff. This daily tool provides meditation, sleep, movement exercises and kids programs.
Behavioral Health Virtual Visits through Aetna
GW employees enrolled on a GW PPO or HSP medical plan through Aetna can schedule virtual visits from the comfort of home. Visits can provide support for needs such as: depression, ADD/ADHD, anxiety and more.
Scheduling an appointment is easy. Log in to Aetna.com and find virtual care. After logging in, navigate via this path: Find A Provider/Mental Health/Mental Health Virtual Care/All Mental Health Services (or select)/each provider has a tile and "Plan a Visit" option.
