HR Leadership is led by Vice President and Chief People Officer, Sabrina Minor. HR Leadership develops and implements the human resources priorities for George Washington University's workforce while acting as a strategic partner for the university. 

 

Sabrina Minor, Vice President and Chief People Officer

As Vice President and Chief People Officer, Ms. Minor oversees the Human Resource Management and Development function at George Washington University, overseeing HR operations and strategy, talent acquisition, benefits, compensation, payroll, and talent and organizational development. She is responsible for developing a long-term, data-driven strategic workforce plan that attracts, develops, retains, engages and supports faculty and staff to advance the university’s mission.

Prior to this, Ms. Minor oversaw the HR Business Partner division within Human Resource Management and Development as well as the Faculty and Staff Service Center as the Assistant Vice President of the HR Business Partner unit. She holds a B.S. degree in Human Resources, and has certificates in conflict resolution, and workforce planning and management.

Diane Conners, Director, Talent Acquisition

Diane Conners Professional Headshot

Ms. Conners oversees the Talent Acquisition team and guides all recruitment and hiring efforts for the university staff population,

including the GW Temps (temporary staff). In this role, Ms. Conners works with leaders across the university, to hire and locate the candidates who align with the university's goals. She has both a M.Sc. and B.A. degree, both from Saint John Fisher College.

Rea Childs, Assistant Vice President, HR Services and Engagement

In her role as Assistant VP, HR Services and Engagement, Rea Childs oversees the HR Business Partner division and the Talent and Organizational Development department. Ms. Childs has over fifteen years of Human Resources experience, and seven years of experience at GW in progressive HR roles. Prior to joining GW, she served as a Sr. Strategic HR Business Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank. Ms. Childs holds a Bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and the SHRM-SCP certification.

Jessica Tischler, Assistant Vice President, Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Access

Jessica Tischler

In her role as Assistant Vice President of Equal Employment Opportunity and Access, Jessica Tischler oversees EEO compliance and

discrimination investigations, disability and religious accommodations, and affirmative action, and provides strategic guidance on employment and labor relations matters. Ms. Tischler holds a J.D. from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.

Kellie Walls, Executive Assistant, Office of the Vice President and Chief People Officer

As Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Chief People Officer (VP/CPO), Ms. Walls offers a wide range of executive support for the VP/CPO and other leaders within the organization. While managing the appointments and scheduling for the leadership team, she also acts as the project manager and primary point of contact for administrative matters pertaining to the Office of the VP/CPO. She is responsible for coordinating daily operational functions, streamlining management systems, monitoring budgets, and improving business efficiency. Ms. Walls has over 20 years of experience as an administrative professional in both the private and public sectors.

Jennifer Lopez, Associate Vice President, Total Rewards

As Associate Vice President of Total Rewards, Jennifer Lopez oversees the payroll, compensation, benefits, and HR Information

Systems Operations functions. Ms. Lopez guides workforce administration on a large scale, and is responsible for several key university initiatives, such as Open Enrollment and the annual merit process adjustments. Ms. Lopez is a Certified Public Accountant and has a B.S. with Penn State University. She has worked at George Washington University in various roles for over 20 years. Prior to joining GW, she worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Albert Mojica, Director, HRIS Business Operations

Albert Mojica

As HRIS Business Operations director, Albert Mojica is responsible for the strategic and operational direction of enterprise HR

systems, including implementing, maintaining, and leveraging HR system solutions critical to HRMD business priorities. The HRIS Business Operations Director consults and advises HRIS Operations, HR Business Partners, HR Subject Matter Experts, and other system users. This position also serves as a strategic and collaborative partner with Information Technology, Business Intelligence, Finance, Academic Affairs and vendors on various business initiatives and change management.
