Your Behavioral Health benefit, covered under both GW PPO and GW HSP Plans, includes counseling and substance abuse recovery services. It can help you effectively deal with stressful and challenging situations. Accessing your Behavioral Health benefit is easy and available 24 hours a day. A specialist will help you identify the nature of your problem and the appropriate resource to address it.
How to Find a Behavioral Health Provider and Submit Out of Network Claims:
- Find a provider by logging into www.aetna.com, click on Find Care & Pricing > Mental Health.
- For submitting claims, log in to www.aetna.com. Use Support Tab or your own Account Tab > Select Forms > Submit a Claim.

- On www.aetna.com, Find Care & Pricing > Mental Health > Mental Health Virtual Care. You can search by All Mental Health Specialties or by select categories such as Anxiety, Child/Adolescent, Depression and more. Providers are listed by name and the populations they serve. Telephone numbers and the ability to schedule a visit are easily accessible.
- Substance Use Recovery: Your plan covers comprehensive substance use disorder treatment including intensive outpatient programs, residential detoxification, assessments, and ongoing recovery support. Log into www.aetna.com > Find Care & Pricing and search by Substance Use Recovery Services and/or call your Health Concierge at 800-556-1555 for assistance.
