For your first day, you will attend new employee orientation to learn about GW resources and our university community and culture. Resources below will help you prepare for orientation and learn about the requirements of your first days and months at the university. New Employee Orientation

GW’s New Employee Orientation is an introduction to the university community and the many resources available to its employees. The session addresses key questions as you begin your role and includes a welcome video from President LeBlanc, a True Colors engagement activity, and insight into what it means to "Raise High" at GW.

Benefits, Perks, and Pay

In addition to your compensation, GW offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health care coverage, paid vacation and sick leave, a voluntary retirement program, education benefits, life insurance, special discounts and perks, and a variety of work-life benefits. Information about your benefits as well as payroll procedures are covered in a weekly webinar for new employees on Wednesdays.
