Employee Welcome Letter from Dale McLeod

GW Building in Spring

I am pleased you chose the George Washington University as part of your career journey. Our university offers an experience that is special – something that you do not find just anywhere. The GW Values, indicated below, guide how we work together and contribute to our sense of community. Our values define who we are as an employer and an institution.

During your time at GW, I hope you see and explore the many ways our values contribute to our mission. Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

As a new member of our GW community, strive to embrace these values in your everyday interactions. Your work with our students, faculty, alumni, parents, staff, neighbors, and others we serve reflects on you, your department, and our institution as a whole. We are “Proud to be GW,” and the combined efforts of each individual make our university a great place to learn, live, and work.

Welcome!

Dale McLeod
