Sustainability
Employees in this subfamily are responsible for planning, facilitating implementation, and measuring the university’s sustainability agenda related to environment, equity and resilience in business practice and campus and community engagement. Employees lead the strategy and branding for the university on sustainability, manage internal and external stakeholder engagement through input to university decisions and plans related to sustainability (e.g. input to dining RFP, ESG commitments, etc.), and conduct communications and outreach into the GW community for behaviors and participation in sustainability programs that contribute to a culture of sustainability and sustainability outcomes. Employees may perform activities that support the sustainability objectives through implementation. Duties include collaboration among departments and divisions, research, analysis, identification of best practice and performance monitoring.
