Museum and Arts
Employees in this subfamily are responsible for the operations of a museum. Typical activities include planning, scheduling and preparing exhibits, and may include managing day-to-day operations and financial activities of the museum. Employees are responsible for the design, installation and interpretation of a collection; the safe movement of museum collections and all related records and documentation; and the documentation and insurance of loan collections. Employees may oversee the conservation of collection, conduct research, write papers and increases awareness of a collection. Duties include the installation and removal of museum exhibits. Employees may report effectiveness of a display and suggest modifications for improvement.
