Job Approval by Location
In cases where employees perform work across multiple departments or report to different managers, the Multiple Approvers functionality ensures that each Timekeeper can review and approve the time worked in their respective areas.
This feature does not change the employee’s existing method of recording time. Instead, it enhances visibility and accountability by providing:
- Timekeepers can use Job Approval by Location to view and approve time charged specifically to their department.
- A person icon will appear in the Transfer cell and data will appear in bold when the employee has time worked in a job within the Timekeeper's permission set.
- Purple shading highlights departments that have already approved time on the timecard.
- The system marks the time that was approved enabling Payroll to email only timekeepers who have not yet approved.
- On the Total tab, charges to each department are displayed in bold, allowing Timekeepers and Managers to quickly identify their department’s entries.
