Network Administration and Operations
Employees in this subfamily are responsible for acquiring, installing, configuring, administering, supporting and maintaining computer network systems to ensure optimal performance of the university's network across campus locations. Activities include monitoring network performance; identifying and resolving network problems; implementing network back-up and security procedures; upgrading network hardware, software and telecommunications equipment; and training network users.
