Career Milestones
GW's annual Career Milestones Celebrations honor those who have achieved career milestones (every five years of service at GW).
We host two celebrations: one for employees with 5, 10, and 15 years of service, and one for employees with 20+ years of service. Each employee will be sent an invitation with the date and time for the event they will attend.
If you are being recognized with a service award, you will receive an invitation to the event by email. If you have questions, please contact gw_recognition

- How do I know which event I should attend?
If you are celebrating a milestones this year, all information on the date and time of the event that you have been invited to is listed on your invitation email. You can RSVP through the email invitation sent to you. If you are having trouble locating your invitation, please contact gw_recognition

Only invited career milestone recipients should attend the events. University leadership will attend to recognize your milestone. We encourage managers to find ways to recognize employees reaching milestones in a personalized way -- a thoughtful card, a celebratory meal, or a shoutout in a team or all hands meeting.
