Employees in this subfamily are responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful and useful information for business analysis purposes. Employees may partner with business users to define requirements for reporting needs; develop performance measures that drive reporting and analytics; use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to inform business decisions; maintain a portfolio of metrics, documents, and other reusable assets; and support complex business system applications. Key responsibilities include managing the queries and reporting to support the Business Intelligence requirements of databases, data mining, and data warehousing.
