Plumbing

Employees in this subfamily are responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal. Duties include following established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Employees may review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details, assess material and equipment needs, establish the sequence of pipe installations and plan installation around obstructions.
