Weight Watchers at Work
Enjoy the convenience of attending Weight Watchers meetings at work. Join Weight Watchers at Work to access a wealth of resources and receive support in your weight loss efforts. You'll get everything you need to lose weight and keep it off. At your first GW Weight Watcher’s meeting, your leader will conduct a private and confidential weigh in with you and will also work to set up your first weight loss goal. Each meeting is a discussion with your leader, with a new topic each week.
When you sign up for Weight Watchers at Work, you will also be given access to Weight Watchers eTools. eTools allows you to keep track of how many points you use each day, as well as, chart your progress, and find recipe ideas. Attend a free Open House and see for yourself why people who attend Weight Watchers lose three times more weight than those who go it alone!
Come to a free Open House on Tuesday October 7, from 12:30pm- 1:15 pm in the Marvin Center, Room 302 to start the new Weight Watchers at Work series! Membership for WW at Work series includes “At Work” meetings and access to eTools online. The length of the series will be 12 weeks.
Payment is required at the intro session if you plan to enroll in the program (payment plans may be available).
The first official week of the program will be TuesdayOctober 14th depending the minimum enrollment requirement.

I am already a Weight Watchers Member, how can I enroll to attend the GW meetings?
- Call the Wellness Help Line 866-204-2885 to cancel monthly membership.
- Let the representative know that you are signing up as a new customer through the GW Series a, you need to cancel your current account, and you want to keep your old information in the new account.
- If any refund is due, the representative will process this.
- Make sure you have the correct username and password.
- Attend the Open House to register.
Can I use my flexible spending account to pay for my enrollment in Weight Watchers?
The IRS does allow enrollment in weight loss programs to be included as a medical expense in your FSA if it is for the treatment of specific diseases (obesity, heart disease, hypertension) as diagnosed by a physician. Please read the specific eligibility requirements outlined by the IRS for more information.
How much does the series cost and how can I pay?
The Open House session is free. The cost of the 6 week series is $78. Payment plans may be available .Most major credit cards and personal checks are accepted and will be collected at the Open House.
I know the series has already started. When does the next series start?
The next Open House dates will posted in August 2014 and will most likely be in early Fall. Depending on enrollment size the next session will either be17 weeks for $186 (20+ paying employees) or 12 week session for $156 (15+ paying employees).
If I am a Weight Watchers lifetime member, can I attend the “At Work” meetings?
Yes, lifetime members can attend these meetings for free, as long as they weigh in at a Weight Watchers meeting at least once a month and are within 2 pounds of their goal weight.

Join GW Weight Watchers and receive a one month membership at Lerner Health and Wellness Center FREE
All GW Faculty and Staff, that register for or are currently members of the GW Weight Watchers at Work program, qualify for a free month of membership at Lerner Health and Wellness Center (LHWC). For those WW members who are already members at Lerner, we will replace the one-month of free membership with a Fitness Assessment.
